Today after hearing the press release of Vodafone to release iPhone in India for 31K to 36K, Am pretty sure that most Indians would not love the phone any more. We were expecting the phone for less than 15K from the rumors spread. And another surprise would be Airtel might definitely give it for higher prices as usual as their strategy.
The worlds most popular mobile phone platform now allows hackers to do the worst thing ever can be done to your mobile phones. The risk level is so high that a hacker can remotely do almost every thing that the owner can do with it. Surprisingly the platform is now implemented on more than 140 models from Nokia and over 100 million devices have been sold till date.

The next step for mobile gaming is Global multiplayer games for mobile platforms like how we have in PC gaming world. MMOG – Massive Multiplayer Online Game, on mobile is bit early for mobile phones as we don’t have enough speed in mobile Internet. But a turn based massive multiplayer would be a good alternate for the time being.
We (Smackall Games) is working on building our casual games portal(http://m.smackall.com) with MMOG as our main scope. This portal will soon have many classical games targeting gamers from India. We are now testing our game server with 2 player simple multiplayer games and will soon update your portal with many typical Indian classical games like Rummy and other. The portal also has some simple casual games for us to test the download features of the portal. You can try downloading games and if you have any game request or problem downloading games please post it on our forum here.
We have hardly 2 weeks for the release of the long awaiting iPhone 3G in India. Now, arises question on why buy it and is it going to be really 3G and worth paying like hell in the initial days. When Airtel and Vodafone release a new technology, I know how their charges might be. I have had good experience with Airtel when I was the first person to apply for GPRS in my home town 4 years back. I have a few questions I would like my readers to answer before I decide to buy this gadget.

Most of you should have come across the time killer game Desktop Tower Defense which has become really popular. You can now play multi player and single player version in this website. www.casualcollective.com. A similar game made for mobile is here. The game is almost the same but with a fixed path for the enemies.

Skype has now released J2ME version of their client which can be installed on most J2ME Midp-2 phones. All you have to choose is the relative phone model which has the similar display size in their list and you will be able to run their application on your mobile.

This might make it more competitive and fine to stand its ground when other platforms have emerged from top players like Google and Apple. (eg. Android, linux and mac).
