Just a few things with the light..
no, no,.. Its not that hi-tech to have everything in one…
I have seen one of my friend in college using this kinda stuff. Along with the pen there are stickers , keychains , mobile straps which light up at the time of incoming call. Even I bought a small radio handsfree ( for nokia 6600 , handsfree with built in radio )when I was in college for rupee 200. that was also having this functionality. It used to give a really cool effect when worn over a white Tshirt.
… but yeah .not to mention .. they were all chinese products

But this light is bit different as it has other uses as well. 
Yes, I have also used a similar mobile stand which will light up before you get a call, but it is really annoying when you use it.
