There has been not much changes in the top selling list from many providers in past few years. Eight out of top ten games are always classical casual games. Tetris making the first position every time in many markets. This shows that the market is really high for casual games than action or any other genre when it comes to mobile phone arena. AT&T’s top seller mobile games are not an exception this time.

Tetris: After doing a few searches on Google, I find that Tetris from different makers have always been on top ten lists from different markets and different providers for the past 3 years. This shows the mobile phone market’s thirst towards casual gaming. Teris being one of the oldest and the most popular game is available for almost every gaming platform world ever has seen. I hope tetris is a game that every one born after 80s should have atleast played it once in their life.

I know tetris since I was a child, about 17 years ago, OMG how the time goes by! I remember it was a game included with the Nintendo GameBoy. The most valuable point of tetris is that you don’t have to read a guide to play, just start the game and play, the operation is really simple, simpler than pacman. This is why it was so adictive also for adult people.

you are right, I agree 100%. The most amazing thing with tetris is the self explanatory and simple gameplay.

and cannot try any before my mobile dry again
Almost all the games are old,so they have made a impact in the mobile industry.Also they thought little different which made them reach success.. Creativity rocks!!

Yes, these are all classical games which has brought up the mobile game market. Even good titles of famous movies didnt make it in the list.
I used to play these games years back … But still i am surprised to see the list … I was wondering now that its a time for 3d games…. However second doubt about the list .. Cant see snake anywhere which is the most popular game till date..
also gives an indication … high end mobile are still not the first choice

Yes, Kanak. Snake is from Nokia and it free and only for Nokia devices. 3d games are not really popular yet. Though there are really good 3D games like COD and MOH we dont expect them anywhere near top 100.

Yeah you are right .. 3d Games need at first a high end mobile whose graphic capabilities match with the games 3d effect… However, COD and MOH …

yes, you are right. Hightech mobiles are nowadays used only for tech freaks and not game freak. This is due to the average age of the game freaks which is less and they are mostly people who depends on someone else’s income. But be being expection here.
