Skype has now released J2ME version of their client which can be installed on most J2ME Midp-2 phones. All you have to choose is the relative phone model which has the similar display size in their list and you will be able to run their application on your mobile.

I just tested Skype on my N70 and it works fine, I chose Nokia 6230i which has the similar screen size. This url allows any Java enabled Midp-2.0 profiled device to install the application. The url doesn’t seems to allow other devices to install Skype client and only 50 devices are listed.

my N95 works fine, but I wish it could work on more mobile devices. might be the J2ME restrictions.
personally I prefer Papaya: http://www.getjar.com/products/16561/Papaya. Pretty cool communication tool with social games
Let me try that papaya…
