Samsung announces the launch of their new Digital camera killer phone with 8 megapixel camera. The phone is said to reduce the gap between the digital cameras and mobile phones. The phone has a flash and can detect people in the picture are smiling.
Samsung i8510 is more a camera with phone capabilities added to it. It was the same thing people thought when Sony Ericsson announced their 3.2 mega pixel phone K790i. And Samsung today has come up with 8mp camera phone which will answer many question for normal people for going for a digital camera. The phone is proposed to have upto 16GB internal memory and also an additional MicroSD slot. The microSD might be for the sake of ease of transfer and not for storage. 
When we have 16 GB internal memory who would use a memory stick.
The phone has an optical sensing mouse in the middle button which allows you to move the cursor by just rubbing tour fingers on it, like in our laptops.
The phone in addition also has Wi-Fi, GPS, DIVX compatibility and DLNA functions to stream music, photos and movies to any compatible devices on the same network.

This phone is the king of all camera phones. 8 MP camera is too much man….plus 16 GB of internal memory!!!!
Samsung has already launched a 10MP phone in korea but it was not sleek and looked more a digital camera and not a mobile phone.
It had big zoom lenses.
