LG has now announced the release of their new mobile phone model KC910 with 8 megapixel camera. The camera is equipped with Schneider-Kreuznach optics and has a xenon flash. The phone is a rival to Samsung’s i8510 which was released last week and Sony Ericsson’s C905 which has 8.1 megapixel camera. However the phone is claimed to be a rival for iPhone with its 240×400 pixel resolution screen with touch screen. The phone is said to be released in October this year.

One thing I never understood, these guy release great phones, but samsung, lg , sony why have to give them a series name so so so complicated… I just remember using lg phone called “secret” ..but when my friend wanted to check that out … the store guy asked the model number… and we have to search in the display pieces to actually find out the phone ….
Y cant these guys keep some meaningful name than naming it into some complicated series.

Ah, nice catch. I always worry about that with LG and samsung. But I guess the reason might be this. Nokia and Sony Ericsson, even most other manufacturers created devices for only GSM and CDMA while these LG and Samsung have to update their technology every few month when there is a new release of technology in Japan or Korea. You see they release devices for many networks which are supported only in few countries. And when they have to stand their ground in the global market they also have to work on GSM which might make it hard for them to name it.
Just a guess.
