This category of my blog will have interview with a geek every week, and they will be answering the same set of questions everything related to the mobile phone they use currently. The set of questions are answered by me for this week as a sample.

1) What mobile phone do you use currently and are you planning to buy any? (make and model)

Using Nokia N70, and Sony Ericsson K790i and planning to buy N95.

2) You use it more for a) phone calls, sms, mms, radio or b) games, applications, internet?

Well, my answer is b, I use my phone mainly for games, applications and Internet and I also sometimes use my phone for its basic purpose.

3) List few features in your mobile you cannot live without, and any 3rd party application or games as well.

Opera Mini, Gmail application, Google Maps, Markets on mobile, Radarspot, ICICI Bank application, and IRCTC mobile(railway ticket booking application).

Opera mini will hold my 5 stars as it gives me the real web experience and that saves me at times when I am away from my PC. Gmail application is another good simple and smart application that I often use when I am out on my travel. Google Maps, especially with my K790i which will show the current location on the map using the cellid. This feature was something I was expecting more as there are not much GPS devices or providers in India. Now the rest of the application ICICI bank application allows me to do everything that I can do with their web interface. The Radarspot is an application that will allow you to upload your contacts, emails, and other personal information to their server and allows you to download when you change your phone or lost old one.

4) Whats your background image and theme? and why?

This is the default theme and bg as I dont want to slow down my phone by changing these things. And now if you ask me why the application manager and Bluetooth are put in the shotcuts, are coz I use them so often at office to test something now and then.

5) Any suggestions on this model? and how much do you rank this phone model out of 5 and why?

Well, my rank for Nokia N70 is 3.5 and K790i is 3.4 points.

Nokia N70 is good enough for Internet sticky people but has a little slow processor that stops me from doing things for making it fancy. K790i has a better CPU and can handle things better but still it lacks Symbian and looses many options.
