Vodafone has announced Samsung F490i in the UK. The phone seems to be another gadget lined up as a rival for iPhone. The new mobile handset has 3.2-inch TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 240×432 pixels.

Seeing is believing, and till now all iphone killers were just good for nothing. Actually speaking nothing was even close to Iphone. Since I have used iphone 8gb and 16gb version,I can just say that its one amazing piece of hardware and software without compromize of anything, let it be display , speed , UI alignment and in terms of handling third party applications. LG prada , HTC touch and recently announced SE xperia were also called iphone killers. Other than Xperia ( Since its not yet released) everyone failed miserably. Iphone is much known for highly anticipated touchscreen which this phone is lackin as far as I think .
From what I know from Samsung it wouldnt be a real killer of iPhone. But saying iPhone killer is not taking over 100% of iPhone’s market, but just another similar model so that Samsung lovers dont have to go for iphone.
